As forecasted by some experts, the demand for basic and advanced digital skills should grow substantially by 2030.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/bewell-project.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">4-year BeWell project<\/a>, launched on 1<sup>st<\/sup> July 2022, and funded under Erasmus+ programme (Grant Number: 101056563), aims to form an alliance, to build a movement of all healthcare stakeholders supporting and committed to the development, implementation, and upscaling of the strategy on upskilling and reskilling of the European health workforce\u00a0; and to develop a green and digital skills strategy for the health ecosystem that can be implemented at a local, regional, national, and ultimately at the European level through the <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/social\/main.jsp?catId=1517&amp;langId=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pact for Skills<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Considering the need for global transition in economy and society and the experience of rapid health response to the present pandemic crisis through many health care transformation the project proposes to capitalise on the COVID experience and to mobilise and engage key stakeholders from European health ecosystems to: form a sustainable alliance to address the skill needs of the health workforce; identify the skill gaps in the sector; and develop a skills strategy to be implemented at a local, regional, national, and ultimately European level though the Pact for Skills.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">By addressing the existing skill mismatches and strengthening these competencies, the project will enable the health workforce to be better prepared to face future challenges and adapt to ever-evolving societal contexts. To do this, the project will build comprehensive curricula and training programmes that will target all professionals of the health workforce, including for health students, health professionals (nurses, doctors, operators, managers) and professionals of emerging occupations.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The consortium consists of 24 beneficiaries and 5 associated partners from 11 countries. The geographical diversity in partners ensures the representation of different cultural, social, political, educational structures, values and traditions.
