Besides welcoming Nina Hahtela as the new EFN Vice-President, the Assembly delivered on some important EU policy topics key for nurses and nursing. The EFN members discussed EFN input to the <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/commission\/priorities\/deeper-and-fairer-economic-and-monetary-union\/european-pillar-social-rights_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/commission\/priorities\/deeper-and-fairer-economic-and-monetary-union\/european-pillar-social-rights_en&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1524058492292000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHO0Boa3OD7UAq2-n3qjZo5iiakCA\"> European Pillar of Social Rights<\/a>, with particular attention to Principles 6 \u2018Wages\u2019 &amp; 16 \u2018Health care\u2019 and Principle 18 \u2018Long-term Care\u2019; the future EU development of Advanced Nursing Practice (ANP); and discussed the OECD data on the nursing workforce and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oecd.org\/health\/paris.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/www.oecd.org\/health\/paris.htm&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1524058492292000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGtMvu4Wh7jcCFg6kczjIqr1rJdcA\">OECD work<\/a> on PROMS-PREMS.<\/p>\n<p>The GA was for the members an opportunity to share best practices on well-functioning \u201cPrimary Care models\u201d, and practices led by nurses.
