On the occasion of the International Nurses\u2019 Day 2018 (IND2018), the EFN Members organised key events & activities at national level to raise awareness of the public and the decision-makers on nurses\u2019 daily reality. See below a few examples:<\/p>\n

Bulgaria<\/strong> – The Bulgarian nurses<\/a> undertook an Industrial Action in Sofia calling their government for better working conditions. More information here<\/a>. #BulgariannursesIndustrialAction<\/a><\/p>\n

Finland<\/strong> – The Finnish Nurses Association<\/a> invited the members of their parliament to visit different health care organizations to see nurses\u2019 work in practice and to become nurses for one day. More information here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

France<\/strong> – ANFIIDE<\/a> launched the outcomes<\/a> of a survey undertaken on the topic \u201cLa sant\u00e9 est un droit humain (Health is a human right)\u201d.<\/p>\n

Norway <\/strong>– The Norwegian Nurses Organisation<\/a> focused<\/a> on nursing shortage & nurse retention.<\/p>\n

Spain<\/strong> – The Spanish Council of Nursing<\/a> launched a campaign<\/a> called \u201cYour nurse leaves a fingerprint\u201d, with the message that a nurse always leaves a fingerprint\/sign in the patient’s history and in families and carers lives.<\/p>\n

UK<\/strong> – The Royal College of Nursing<\/a> launched \u2018This Nurse\u2019 film<\/a> to celebrate the modern and dynamic profession nursing is in 2018, and show all the amazing things nurses do, and organised a Congress<\/a> in Belfast.<\/p>\n
