The award is open to any healthcare stakeholder: patients\u2019 associations, health professionals, private and public hospitals, universities, etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Your project will be considered for a public European celebration when the prizes are awarded\u00a0 and will represent the recognition of ongoing excellence.\u00a0 A representative from each of the entries that have been short-listed will be invited to this event. This will foster the formation of a network of good practice practitioners, able to share information, advice and practical help with each other. This the second \u00a0of a series of prizes \u2013awarded every two years \u2013 celebrating progress in the treatment and manage of chronic pain.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Closing date for receiving your submission is<\/span><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u00a031 December 2018<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The types<\/strong>\u00a0of good practice to be identified will be classified as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Patients\u2019 empowerment<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Innovation<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Clinical practices<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Professional education<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Definition<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cittadinanzattiva.it\/approfondimenti\/attivismo-civico\/cittadinanza-dimpresa\/4972-good-practice-the-policy-of-cittadinanzattiva.html\"><strong>What is a good practice?<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Good practices are actions whose very nature have a positive impact on the quality of services, the protection of citizens&#8217; rights, the promotion of civic participation, and the enhancement of human resources.
