{"id":15284,"date":"2022-11-07T14:29:59","date_gmt":"2022-11-07T12:29:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/efn.eu\/?p=15284"},"modified":"2022-11-07T14:30:01","modified_gmt":"2022-11-07T12:30:01","slug":"opening-ceremony-for-nurses-and-midwives-park-and-statue-in-cyprus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/efn.eu\/?p=15284","title":{"rendered":"Opening ceremony for nurses and midwives park and statue in Cyprus"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/cyna.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cyprus Nurses and Midwives Association<\/a>, member of EFN, and Yermasogia municipality held an opening ceremony on 4 November 2022 with the presence of the President of Cyprus\u2019s Parliament health committee and other parliamentarians, for the opening of a small central park and the unveiling of a Statue, both dedicated to nurses and midwives at Yermasogia municipality (Limassol area).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">The previous CYNMA President, Ms Tapakoudi, was also present, together with other guests from the city of Limassol, the municipality of Yermasogia and of the State Health Services Organisation, and CYNMA past &amp; present board members and colleagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">The Mayor, Mr Xydias, and CYNMA\u2019s President, Mr Leontiou, unveiled the statue for nurses and midwives of Cyprus and of the World, which consists of the nursing oil lamp with 4 nurses\/midwives holding the world, and showing the universal nature of nurses&#8217; and midwives&#8217; role! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">This was an initiative from CYNMA Board with a warm acceptance from Yermasogia municipality that created the park.\u00a0The whole event had a huge promotion from the media and was appreciated by health care professionals and citizens around the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Cyprus Nurses and Midwives Association, member of EFN, and&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":15285,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_dont_email_post_to_subs":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":"","jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false},"categories":[35],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-15284","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news"],"jetpack-related-posts":[{"id":16851,"url":"https:\/\/efn.eu\/?p=16851","url_meta":{"origin":15284,"position":0},"title":"117th EFN General Assembly, Madrid","author":"efn efn","date":"October 20, 2023","format":false,"excerpt":"The EFN Members just came out of their 117th General Assembly in Madrid, Spain, where key EU policy topics, having a huge impact on nurses were discussed.
