The Directorate General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE) of the European Commission together with the Ministry of Health of Luxembourg is organising on 22 and 23 November 2022 a High-level Conference<\/a> on COVID-19 lessons learned and looking ahead to ensure a stronger EU Health Security Framework, that can be followed online<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bringing together EU and public institutions, non-governmental organisations, international organisations and governmental representatives, the conference will cover many pertinent lessons learned during the COVID pandemic that helped build a stronger EU Health Security Framework. It will also present the regulations recently adopted by the Council, designed to complete the European Health Union<\/a>, in the areas of prevention, preparedness, surveillance, risk assessment, early warning, and response, that should enter into force soon:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
