{"id":15580,"date":"2023-01-31T20:14:11","date_gmt":"2023-01-31T18:14:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/efn.eu\/?p=15580"},"modified":"2023-01-31T20:14:13","modified_gmt":"2023-01-31T18:14:13","slug":"bewell-design-meeting-2-fruitful-days-for-efn-partners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/efn.eu\/?p=15580","title":{"rendered":"BEWELL DESIGN MEETING \u2013 2 FRUITFUL DAYS FOR EFN &#038; PARTNERS!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The EFN is a key partner in <a href=\"https:\/\/bewell-project.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>BEWELL<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <\/strong>the Erasmus+ 4-year EU project on <strong>digital and green skills, <\/strong>which aims to build, support, develop and implement an EU strategy on upskilling and reskilling of the European healthcare workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to advance the developments for supporting nurses and nursing profession, the EFN participated at <strong>the 2 \u2013 Day\u2019s Bewell Design Meeting in Brussels<\/strong> on 30 and 31 January 2023 focused on the <strong>WP 5 \u2013 Design of core curricula and training programmes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It includes <strong>9 tasks<\/strong> and the activities will follow <strong>2 directions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The <strong>development of new curricula <\/strong>and training courses for the re-skilling and upskilling of the healthcare professionals focusing on <strong>green skills, digital skills and pandemic-related issues<\/strong>.<\/li><li>The <strong>development of new curricula and training courses<\/strong> for students, healthcare professionals (nurses, doctors, operators, managers) and companies that will connect the <strong>needs of the health system and the companies.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In these 2 challenging days, the EFN and the other partners worked on the development of delivering <strong>methodologies for curricula and education &amp; training programmes<\/strong> on <strong>urgent needs<\/strong> of the healthcare sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They were involved in the definition of the <strong>key topics and the structure<\/strong> of the education and training programs for giving to nurses and to the other healthcare professionals the most useful and necessary <strong>digital and green skills<\/strong> in order to facilitate their everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, the partners opened the discussion on the green skills and on which ones are the most useful for the healthcare sector. In this context, the EFN underlined the key role of nurses in Planetary Health.
