Marian Harkin and Elizabeth Lynne, hosted the dinner in the European Parliament<\/strong> for the launch of the book Nurses\u2019 Voice in the EU Policy Process. The book captures EFN\u2019s transformation over its 40 years<\/strong> \u2013 and the particularly the last 20 years, with the development of a strong European voice for Nursing. Over the years, nurses build the EU by contributing to the EU policy process and using different lobby mechanisms to achieve successful outcomes. Bridging the gap between citizens and EU legislation<\/strong> plays a key role in which EFN members are a loop of advocacy and information, bringing the field to Brussels and EU policies to national and regional contexts.
