{"id":19014,"date":"2025-05-26T18:07:17","date_gmt":"2025-05-26T16:07:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/efn.eu\/?p=19014"},"modified":"2025-05-26T18:07:38","modified_gmt":"2025-05-26T16:07:38","slug":"cpme-efn-pgeu-joint-statement-on-the-european-parliament-empl-sant-joint-own-initiative-report-on-the-european-healthcare-workforce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/efn.eu\/?p=19014","title":{"rendered":"CPME-EFN-PGEU Joint Statement on the European Parliament EMPL-SANT Joint Own-Initiative Report on the European Healthcare Workforce"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">As the European Parliament EMPL and SANT Committees are starting to work on a Joint Own-Initiative (INI) Report \u2018an EU health workforce crisis plan: sustainability of healthcare systems and employment and working conditions in the healthcare sector\u2019, EFN, together with CPME and PGEU, is officially launching a <a href=\"https:\/\/efn.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/CPME-EFN-PGEU-Joint-Statement-INI-Report-EU-Healthcare-Workforce.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">joint statement<\/a>, which clearly outlines the shared priorities and expectations of 5 million European Doctors, Nurses, and Community Pharmacists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Crucially, European Doctors, Nurses, and Community Pharmacists are united in calling for a very concrete joint INI Report, which will need to be limited in key actions, focusing on frontline impact, moving past the countless reports lacking substance and impact! As such, the CPME-EFN-PGEU joint statement focuses on the 3R\u00b2: \u201cRecruitment, Retention, and Recovery and Resilience\u201d.
