The EFN proudly joined this year\u2019s campaign, reaffirming its commitment to supporting nurses and all healthcare professionals at the frontline of patient care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nurses are uniquely positioned to transform resistance into resilience. Through education, prevention, and advocacy, they play a decisive role in ensuring the responsible use of antibiotics and in building safer healthcare environments. Yet, to sustain this contribution, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.efn.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/EFN-Position-Paper-on-Nurses-Combatting-AMR-Final-Oct.2016.pdf\">nurses must be equipped<\/a> with adequate staffing levels, continuous training, and the legal frameworks that enable them to prescribe and act at the highest level of their competence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EFN <a href=\"https:\/\/efn.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/EFN-Policy-Statement-on-AMR.pdf\">continues to urge policymakers<\/a> across the EU to strengthen infection control systems, promote nurse prescribing, and ensure safe working conditions.
