{"id":4056,"date":"2013-04-16T16:10:02","date_gmt":"2013-04-16T14:10:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.efnweb.be\/?p=4056"},"modified":"2013-04-16T16:10:02","modified_gmt":"2013-04-16T14:10:02","slug":"efn-98th-general-assembly-11-12-april-2013-brussels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/efn.eu\/?p=4056","title":{"rendered":"EFN 98th General Assembly, 11-12 April 2013, Brussels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Setting the scene for EFN lobby work, the EFN Members present in the EFN 98<sup>th<\/sup> Brussels General Assembly had the opportunity to discuss &amp; share their views on key policy issues, such as: the last developments of the revision of the Mutual Recognition of Professional Qualifications Directive (<a title=\"Directive_36\" href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/internal_market\/qualifications\/policy_developments\/index_en.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Directive 2005\/36\/EC<\/a>); Continuous Professional Development (CPD); bridging courses for Romania; <a title=\"New skills for new jobs\" href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/social\/main.jsp?catId=568\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EU Skills Council for Nursing and Social Care<\/a>; the new EFN Strategic &amp; Operational Lobby Plan 2014-2020 (which builds further on the successes achieved through the EFN Strategic &amp; Operational Lobby Plan 2009-2013); EFN involvement in EU projects as the <a title=\"Joint Action on Patient Safety &amp; Quality of Care\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pasq.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joint Action on Quality &amp; Safety<\/a>, the <a title=\"Joint Action on Workforce Planning\" href=\"http:\/\/www.euhwforce.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joint Action on Workforce Planning<\/a>, and Smartcare, as well as the European Commission <a title=\"CIP\" href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/digital-agenda\/sites\/digital-agenda\/files\/cip_ict_psp_wp2013_publication.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CIP Thematic Network<\/a> call for projects; and EFN budget. This was also a good opportunity for the EFN members to share their experiences and developments at national level on Advanced Nurse Practitioners, nurse e-prescribing and eHealth services.
