The European Federation of Nurses Associations (EFN) is pleased to announce that four nursing political leaders, all women, have been elected to the EFN Executive Committee, for a two years mandate (2013-2015).<\/p>\n
Meeting in Skopje (FYR Macedonia) for the 99th<\/sup> EFN General Assembly, held on 26-27 September 2013, the EFN members elected a new President. Ms Marianne Sipil\u00e4, from the Finnish Nurses Association, an active player in EFN for many years, was chose with an overwhelming majority, to succeed to Ms Unni Hembre, EFN President from 2010 to 2013.<\/p>\n \u201cHealth and social care is facing big changes in Europe and all over the world. Nurses are needed now more than ever to give their input to the development of European health care and nursing.
