{"id":6863,"date":"2015-05-08T12:53:54","date_gmt":"2015-05-08T10:53:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.efnweb.be\/?p=6863"},"modified":"2015-05-08T12:53:54","modified_gmt":"2015-05-08T10:53:54","slug":"time-to-deliver-the-maternity-leave-directive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/efn.eu\/?p=6863","title":{"rendered":"Time to Deliver the Maternity Leave Directive!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>More than 4\u00a0years ago, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/sides\/getDoc.do?type=TA&amp;reference=P7-TA-2010-0373&amp;language=EN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maternity Leave Directive<\/a> was successfully adopted by the European Parliament in first reading. It was then blocked in the Council with the excuse that the timing wasn\u2019t right, due to the economic crisis.
