Thursday, 8 March 2012, marks the International Women’s Day. The EFN would like to celebrate this day by emphasising the importance of providing women and nurses with a strong foundation of education, skill mix and a safe working environment! In order to provide the high level of care that is expected of them, it is extremely important that the entrance level to the nursing education as proposed in the Commission proposal for the modernisation of the Professional Qualifications Directive is voted favourably on by all MEPs.
