The IMCO Final Report on Mutual Recognition of Professional Qualifications has been published on the EP website. The report contains the outcome of the IMCO Vote on 23 January and the ENVI and EMPL opinions respectively. The final negotiations between the European institutions (Commission, Parliament and Council of Ministers) are about to start.
The IMCO Committee and COREPER have given the mandate to Bernadette Vergnaud and the Irish Presidency respectively to start the trilogues with the aim of reaching a 1st reading agreement in June. The first trilogue is taking place on 20 March and the 3 institutions are meeting EFN members on 11 April 2013.
