EFN is a member of the EU E-health Stakeholder group which just agreed on 4 policy document related to “Interoperability”, “Access to Electronic Health Record”, “Inequalities” and “Telemedicine”. Although we regret the word “Telemedicine” is still used in the design of a more patient-centred and inter-professional healthcare system, the Access to the EHR and the inequalities are key policy documents for the nursing profession to deliver high quality and safe care.
