After another year of intense lobby work, developing strong alliances with the EU healthcare professionals, health organisations, EU policy-makers and politicians, designing the EU health policies, we can say that 2014 was a successful legislative year for nurses and nursing within the EU, paving the way for a better healthcare system all over the EU and Europe with better patient outcomes. We believe that 2015 will build further on the successes achieved in 2014, and will undertake successfully the upcoming opportunities for the nursing profession.
Thank you all for your collaboration and support to nurses and nursing throughout the year. We look forward continuing our alliance in 2015.
As in previous years, the EFN made a donation to the Girl Child Education Fund of the International Council of Nurses, which supports the primary and secondary schooling of the orphaned children of nurses in developing countries. As we all know, Ebola has increased the number of orphaned children of nurses. Therefore, we know the donations to the Foundation will be extremely helpful in the years to come. The Foundation counts on our support!
Our Seasons’ Greetings and Best Wishes for the New Year.
