Looking back at all the work done and at the challenges facing the EU, we need, more than ever, strengthen the united voice in the nursing profession and nursing research area, to make sure Dir55, art31 gets implemented, leading to a highly-qualified and motivated workforce making sure patient safety and quality of care lead to the best health and well-being outcomes, underpinned by the EU values. 2016 has been an intense lobby year for the nursing profession within the EU, paving the way for a better health and social care ecosystem with nurses contributing to better patient outcomes. We believe that 2017 will build further on the successes achieved in 2016, and will undertake successfully the upcoming opportunities for the nursing profession.
We take this opportunity to thank you all for your collaboration and continued support to the nurses and nursing throughout the year. We look forward continuing our alliance in 2017.
