On Tuesday 27 February, Nursing Now was officially launched with events and activities organised around the world, including in the UK, Switzerland, Jamaica, USA, South Africa and Jordan. More than 30 countries were represented and people pledged their support and joined the campaign from around the world. The event recording is available here.
As member of the Nursing Now Board, the EFN President, Elizabeth Adams, was present in the UK launch event, representing 3 million nurses on behalf of EFN.
Nursing Now is a three-year campaign being run in collaboration with the International Council of Nurses and the World Health Organization, and aiming to raise the status and profile of nursing.
HRH Duchess of Cambridge is now officially patron of Nursing Now.
