The EFN Secretary General has held a keynote address in the Italian Senate, at the event “Standing with citizens. Standing with health. Strategies for the Future of nursing and Healthcare”, organised on 11 July 2025 by the Italian Nurses Association (CNAI), member of EFN, on the future of nursing.
Paul De Raeve took this opportunity to present the EU project KEEPCARING, of which EFN is a key partner. Advancing the nursing profession requires first and foremost protecting the well-being of our nurses, and KEEPCARING is doing so by co-creating a multi-faceted non-digital, digital and AI-supported solution package to prevent #burnout among healthcare professionals.
The event brought together Politicians, Unions, Federation of Hospital and Local Agency, lobbyists, Citizen Associations, Nurses Managers & Educators, Statistical institute, and nurses.
