EFN at the University of Luxembourg

EFN was present at the University of Luxembourg on 18 September 2025 to meet with post-graduated nursing students for a workshop to collect end-users perspectives on workforce, digitalisation, and mental health.

The post-graduated nursing students raised that nurses have no time to properly process or cope with the emotional and physical demands of the job – and this is where the EU Project KEEPCARING can make the difference, providing nurses with the tools to improve their resilience and coping mechanisms. They highlighted the daily challenge of dealing with the emotional pressure of working with patients and families in difficult situations. EFN stressed that being deeply aware of this, KEEPCARING project will develop effective digital and non-digital solutions to target this.

With burnout and fatigue affecting the well-being and quality of care, the post-graduated nursing students showed great enthusiasm towards the intended outcomes of the KEEPCARING project, and they look forward to concrete results!
